There’s a little bit of magic in being able to evoke emotion in other people, and animation only enhances that. Joy, distress, love, hate. Emotions stick with people, and if a picture or story can carry that emotion, then you have something special. Animation allows creators to push the boundaries of storytelling, affecting an audience in ways difficult to manage in other mediums.
Chance Simmons is a multi-disciplinary artist specializing primarily in character animation and illustration. After having multiple traditional art pieces displayed in art galleries throughout Arlington and Fort Worth and working in multiple supervisory and managerial roles in the film industry during his high school career, he decided to branch into an industry with a wider and more varied audience. Receiving his Bachelor of Science for Visualization with a specialization in Animation from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, he works to create stories to be enjoyed by everyone. Born in Fort Worth, Texas in 1999, Chance has worked developing graphics at Apple (via Mindlance).
